To date, there are over 65 million overweight people in the United States. The problem has exploded in recent years and is considered an epidemic. Fortunately, now there are diets and weight loss low carb diet specifically designed to fight against obesity and weight gain.

Carbohydrates are the main source of glucose in the blood, which supplies energy to all cells of the body and the only source of energy for the red blood cells and brain. In the body, carbohydrates are converted to glucose, which is used as fuel or stored in the liver for later use. Although carbohydrates have a use for humans, it is too easy to make too.



 Many of us are not even aware. In the modern world, we are exposed to so much food and especially those that are high in carbohydrates. Fortunately, there are low-carb diets that can help fight against this problem.

There are different types of carbohydrates. Simple carbohydrates provide the body an instant energy boost. Examples of simple carbohydrates are honey, table sugar and candy. Most simple carbohydrates are sweet and good taste. The problem with them is that they also cause a sudden crash in energy levels shortly after being consumed.  



On the other hand, complex carbohydrates consist of foods rich in starch and high in fiber. In this case, they are absorbed more slowly. Foods that are rich in complex carbohydrates include fruits, grains, legumes, vegetables, wheat, potatoes, corn and rice.

In general, low-carb diets are designed to reduce the consumption of carbohydrates and increasing your consumption of food sources of good quality protein. This means you'll be able to eat good tasting low carb diet food, such as meat, eggs, cheese and butter. Diets high in protein also make you feel full longer, reducing cravings and prevent overeating.


In addition, carbohydrates, especially simple carbohydrates often have no nutritional value. This means carbohydrates can increase our risk of various health problems. In addition, many foods are low carb diet full of vitamins and minerals. Simple carbohydrate foods can cause cavities. Food products such as refined sugar, bread and rice can trigger tooth decay. Low carb recipes turn require rare ingredients such as sugar, flour and rice.


The best thing about low-carb diets is that they promote foods that are healthy, but also palatable. This means low-carb diets are extremely easy to follow, even for life. There are several types available low-carb diets like the Atkins diet of Hollywood, high-protein diet and the Zone diet. So your food choices and consumption may vary depending on the diet plan you choose.


There are certain foods that are generally promoted by diets low in carbohydrates. If you are on a low carbohydrate diet, in general, you can eat a lot of meat and eggs, including chicken, salmon, beef, pork, lamb, scrambled and boiled eggs. You can also have most types of cheeses such as cheddar, mozzarella and cream cheese.


If you like vegetables, it is certainly permissible in many diets to lose weight low carb. You can have, eggplant, spinach, broccoli, tomatoes and much more. If you love salads you will love the low-carb diets because it is very likely that allows you to have bacon bits, grated cheese, eggs and sauteed mushrooms as a garnish.


Finally, the conclusion is that we must decide to avoid serious health problems such as hypertension and high cholesterol in our Middle Ages. This can be achieved by avoiding the waste described above and in strict compliance with low-carbohydrate diets to keep us healthy in the long term.
